Fado – History of a People
The musical, “Fado – History of a People” is the new resident show at Casino Estoril that will entertain all at the Preto e Prata hall. This is a magnificent show by screenwriter Filipe La Féria, who has gone beyond simply recreating the roots of Fado, whose seed had germinated in the soul of a people along the centuries of its history. The show gives body to this journey to Fado’s origins, this return to the present, an anticipation of the trends, so majestically portrayed in his final tribute to the “rebirth of Amalia’s spirit, and steeped in the conceptual avantgarde of the “New Fado”.
